Introducing ON WHAT GROUNDS /
On What Grounds is a podcast project 5 years in the making about land use, property rights, and coexistence told from the perspectives of people living in Brooklyn New York. I’m very proud of the work I’ve done with my friend and neighbor Michelle Silwester, Ricardo Nuñez, and others to create a world of narratives that can inspire the dissemination of the realities of housing, community power, and the cultures and forces at work in the ever changing and highly unique world of New York City. Episodes One and Two were released in June of 2021, and more episodes will arrive in Spring/Summer 2022 and beyond.

Stream Woyaya by Anais Mitchell, Kate Stables and Josh Kaufman /
The Brassland label in Brooklyn decided to re-release this single from last year on the heels of Anais’ sweeping Tony Award wins for her musical Hadestown. I contributed drums and percussion to this beautiful song, and I am still cheering with everyone else for Anais, director Rachel Chavkin, and the rest of the Hadestown cast and crew for their many well-deserved accolades. I also love to hear Amelia and Jesse Salett singing on this song as well.
